As I sit in a coffee shop I am reminded about how much I love the business of filmmaking. I know what you’re thinking, the business of filmmaking? Nobody loves the business. I would disagree. If you’re a true student of film, then you love this business for all the same reasons why you hate it. Because in the end, it’s the process that teaches new and interesting things.
In any case, the reason I got into this business was because I loved the idea of being immersed in a community that was just like me. I’ve discoverd that nowhere is there a more tightly knit community than the one that collectively searches for ways to improve the chances of the entire community to thrive.
So welcome. If you’ve found this site, I hope that you stay a while. Grab a cup of coffee and tell us your story. I believe that everyone has a story to tell – a story that they want to share. So may this site offer you another voice – a way for you to express yourself – and ultimately may this site give you the freedom of that expression that might encourage us all to pool our resources and learn from one another.
